Product Features The bottom corners are rounded for efficient heat convection. The design is compact yet has a 2L capacity by making it deep instead of small in diameter to minimize storage space. The matte-black interior is less likely to show stains (pigmentation caused by long-term use) and cracks than sand-colored ones. The deep depth makes it ideal for small amounts of deep frying and baking. The use of an inner lid (sold separately), a first for cast iron enamelware, prevents spills when simmering or cooking rice and reduces stress during cooking.
