Born in 2003, the seventh album "Continuance" from the CD Record of the Z generation, Jazz composer/pianist and Joey Alexander.
20 years old born in Bali, Indonesia. The debut of the trumpet player Winton Marsalis in 2013, released in 2015, has been nominated by two Grammy awards, including the youngest jazz instrumental album in history, which was the youngest age of 12. Since then, he moved from the Verve Label to MackAvenue to his major debut and is now one of the most notable and momentous Jazz Pianists in the world.
In this series "Continuance", Joey Alexander has far more than himself. Since an early age, it is also the most skilled pianist in the jazz world, and widely recognized as a thoughtful inproviizer, but this work has been leading a unique ensemble and expresses the heart of the Chamber Jaz.
Focus on the great musicians who have been inspired by other than the jazz world, such as Ennio Moricone, John Meyer, Bad Bacarac, and maybe Bonnie Rate, and realize that it connects to a wider audience than ever before.
It is the first album to record with the regular trio of Chris Fan (base) and John Davis (drums) that have been together hundreds of gigs in the past four years. In addition, the guest musicians have participated in the 4 album songs, as a grammy nominated trumpet player.
Includes breathtaking play of Bonnie Rait's famous number I Can't Make You Love Me (n.4), the admiration song "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" (n.6) and the original songs of 5 newly written songs.
