Good kit but would rather have a choice to order for example six pieces of a selectable size. The package as offerred only serves for two uses of one particular size with the other four remaining pieces not required. Still, the product is good. But care must be taken to handle the "pull tab" gently lengthwise only without applying lifting forces as it tends to snap out of the lock and would have to re-fit the unit each and every time it snaps out.......which renders the system quite unpractical.
I'm happy so far. It's a shame, I thought the whole thing was made of metal, but unfortunately it's plastic again. Next time I'll see if I can find one made entirely of metal. I don't know yet whether it works, I'll have to test it first. But so far they don't look bad. I think it's great value for money because it's definitely not easy to make!
Does the job it is intended for but MUST BE TREATED very diligently and avoiding large forces when using it as it has a tendency to snsp open with the slightest excessive pulling force! The repaired zipper will NOT BE BROUGHT BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION with these substitutes; but it will be repaired and usable again if treated as such.
I clip the zipper on and as soon as I pull it shut it comes off again! What a shame otherwise it would be a good solution!
