The plug itself is really great and fits perfectly in the place on my ear. Makes something good. Unfortunately the ball of the breech was not nice. You can twist the ball onto the stick, but it doesn't sit firmly on the stick, it wobbles and slides. I think the thread on the rod or ball is not worked properly. The hole in the ball is too deep, once you have overcome the thread, you can still push the rod in a little, or move the ball back and forth. Tried several other balls as substitutes...either they don't fit on the stick or they slide around too. It's a shame, it's really a nice eye-catcher.❣

Looks like good quality The stick that goes through the ear is pretty long so you do not have to use the little ball to put on the end of the stick (that comes with the earring) but you can also use a metal or silicone thingy to put on the stick behind your ear (like on other earrings) Don't know if i'm allergic to this metal yet...

The only problem that i have with this earring is that you can screw off the little stick that goes through your ear...which is how i lost the gecko part once...the stick stayed in my ear but the gecko was gone... other than that good quality and it looks beautiful :)
