The spinning reel ALX, which combines toughness and lightness at a high level, has undergone a full model change with a friction-free structure.
In the conventional structure, the main shaft inside the body rubbed (contacted) the inside of the pinion gear while operating, making the reeling heavy due to this friction.
On the other hand, the friction-free structure with a non-contact main shaft eliminates this friction and achieves light and smooth rotation.
Dramatically improves the so-called "winding sensitivity", which clearly conveys the minute changes that are transmitted to the hand during reeling.
When fighting, the light reeling allows for "one more turn", and even when it bites or runs toward your hand, it leads to the catch without loosening the line tension.
By using a C6 carbon rotor made of carbon fiber-reinforced engineering plastic and a DURAMETAL™ (high-strength cast aluminum alloy) integrated body, we have succeeded in further reducing weight without sacrificing strength or durability.
7 stainless HPCR ball bearings + 1 roller bearing. The pinion gear uses Salt Shield ball bearings with anti-rust performance.
A water-repellent coating is applied to the entire bearing to drastically reduce the salt build-up phenomenon. Withstands hard use in salt water.
Instant anti-reverse ON/OFF switching function has been abolished to improve the reliability of the stopper and prevent erroneous operation.
In addition, the adoption of a new clutch has improved the ability to prevent reverse rotation during winter fishing.
Adopts 2WAY DRAG™ which allows two settings, "Light" and "Tough", by changing the assembly order of the drag washers.
By using a unique carbon matrix drag washer, higher drag force can be applied while maintaining smooth performance over a wide range.
