Released in 1980, the RZ250 was developed as a culmination of Yamaha's 2-stroke technology amidst increasingly strict environmental regulations, and became a huge hit.It has been a highly popular motorcycle ever since its release, completely changing the market trend that was transitioning to 4-strokes, and leading to the racer replica boom that followed. The shape and presence of the water-cooled two-cylinder engine cultivated in the commercial racers TZ250/350, the first monocross rear suspension for a commercial road sports model, and the fearless styling created by GK Industrial Design Institute have been faithfully recreated. In addition, the tank and frame are made of die-cast, giving it a high level of weight and texture. This is a finished product model with excellent cost performance.
